The split will strengthen each company\u2019s position in a fast growing market.<\/strong><\/p>\n Norman\u2019s products and customer base within SMB will be consolidated in Norman Safeground AS. Norman\u2019s product portfolio\u00a0focused on\u00a0customers seeking the most advanced technological security solutions will be consolidated in Norman Shark.<\/p>\n “Norman is a leading developer and pioneer within IT security and is Norway\u2019s only pure IT security company. By splitting the company we will be able to sharpen our focus and give our different customers exactly the products and the service they require. This will give us a competitive edge” says CEO at Norman Shark, Stein Surlien.<\/p>\n Norman Safeground AS has customers in over 180 countries and launched in Q4 2012 two new versions of Norman\u2019s flagship products, NSS10 and NPRO 9.1, developed specifically for the Norman Safeground customer base.<\/p>\n “This is a solid company which will now be able to concentrate fully\u00a0on giving its customers the best possible customer care, one they can\u2019t find with any other competitor.
